At Maradjao Magbalantay College Seminary, we are honored to have the Good Shepherd as our patron, guiding and nurturing us as we grow in faith and prepare for the priesthood. Just as Jesus, the Good Shepherd, laid down His life for His flock, we are called to follow His example of sacrificial love, care, and service to God’s people.
In the Gospel of John (10:11), Jesus says, “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” This powerful message serves as a constant reminder to seminarians of our calling to be leaders, protectors, and shepherds in our future ministries. As we reflect on His deep love and compassion, we renew our commitment to walk in His footsteps and serve with humility and devotion.
Today, as we celebrate this feast, we ask for the Good Shepherd’s guidance, strength, and protection as we continue our vocational journey, preparing to serve His Church and His people.
